Outdoor Activities
While
you are staying at Upper Trereece why not have a go at one of the many outdoor
activities that are on offer in Herefordshire, Monmouthshire and the Forest of
Dean provided by lifechangingactivities,com.
GORGE
WALKING IN HEREFORDSHIRE . Gorge
walking in Herefordshire is one of the most popular activities that our groups
do, and involves scrambling up a river with waterfalls and obstacles to overcome
as a team.
TEAM CHALLENGE - UPPER TREREECE
If
your group wants to do an activity at your own accommodation why not go for Team
Challenge, itís great fun and everybody can join in. The basic idea is that
your group is split into teams with each team having its own guide/scorekeeper.
The teams then compete against each other and against the clock. It's fantastic
fun and there are a huge range of games, puzzles and challenges to choose from.
Some challenges will be mental, some physical, some creative and others just
crazy.
RAFT
BUILDING IN THE FOREST OF DEAN. If you
want a fun family activity while staying in your luxury group accommodation then why not try Raft Building in the Forest of Dean,
All the activity takes place in a beautiful lakeside location and is fantastic
fun for all ages. Your challenge is to design, build and then paddle your own
raft around the lake without it falling apart.
CANOEING
ON THE RIVER
WYE. Canoeing
is a wonderful group activity. You will be traveling in pairs down the River
Wye, paddling canadian canoes and will be able to see kingfishers, peregrine falcons,
and cormorants as well as some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain.
Your group can always stop off at a pub for lunch and have games of water polo on the way
down.
CLIMBING
& ABSEILING AT SYMONDS YAT. If you have
a fairly active group with a sense of adventure then why not go climbing and/or
abseiling at Symonds Yat. It has climbing for all ages and abilities and you can
abseil down cliffs with the Wye River running directly below you. You couldn't
get a better location for an outdoor activity.
SURVIVAL
TRAINING - THE FOREST OF DEAN. Finally
for something completely different you could take your group survival training
and learn how to light fires with sticks, cook wild food and build shelters. Its
really fun and suitable for all ages.
